Carb adjustment after zorst fittng

#1 PostAuthor: TheBogieMan » Mon Jul 16, 2007 4:19 pm

Well my scraggy 'arris has come off and been replaced by some 4-4's
Now I'm assured by the previous owner that the carbs weren't rejetted.
So do I need to do anything else while tinkering other than setting the points (last done 1,000 miles ago), checking the timing, balancing the carbs and resetting the idle mixture screws ?

I'd pull the carbs off just to make sure the jets / needles settings are correct - better safe than sorry. If they haven't been touched then no.
