Brake M/C refurb

Currently rebuilding the front brakes on my 1100.
The M/C was looking a bit tatty so have decided to strip and repaint before I refit it.
What is the paint of choice for the M/C ? I am not looking for a show bike finish, just a paint that will not flake/bubble as soon as look at it.
Would Hammerite be OK ?
