Discontinued tab washers - suggestions please!

I have now got my cases back from powder coating and am starting to reassemble the engine. There are two tab washers for the selector fork and selector drum bolt which are no longer available from any source that I have tried including ZPower and CMSNL. Can anyone suggest either an alternative supplier or how to make replacements? I guess some stainless sheet would do the trick and it doesn't have to look pretty.

Part numbers are 92024-048 and 92024-047.

Thanks!

They are both unusual shapes. Smaller one has a 10mm central hole, larger one is 16mm. Larger one has already been re-used before.

Would be fantastic if you could make some. I would have thought you could sell them to Zpower as well. Will of course be very happy to pay for your efforts.

cheers, Peter

LondonZ, a small sheet of 18 gauge mild steel and drill your holes then cut them out with small tin-snips finish with small rat-tail file in corners. It not as so you have to go into production. You only need one of each.

Washers arrived safely and fit perfectly, many thanks. The shape of the large one is quite crucial as the curved section has to fit inside the engine casing, which it does. I think you have used 20 gauge mild steel (about 0.92mm thick) which is slightly thicker than the ~0.8mm std washers but should be fine. I'll send you a pic when they are installed, just waiting for some new springs to arrive.

thanks again, peter
