Anybody out there know how much these sell for.
I havent got any pics and dont even know what condition its in.
The information i have is its pre 72 kawasaki twin exhaust looks british all original , and from this i assume it is a w1 650. The buyer is asking £2500 to £3000. Is this reasonable any advice would be appreciated.

I understand the W1 was released in 1966, it was a 650cc over-head valve. It was reputed to be a copy of the 650 BSA, with a few refinements. Later models were produced, 1967 W2SS, with twin 28mm Mikuni's and 1972 was the W3. Lost their way when the H2 and Z1 came along!
I have a mate that has a W1 and it always creates interest at club runs, although, no one gets too excited about it!
If it is good nick, it is worth while as an historical collector. One thing to look at, if you have been riding later bikes.... I think they have right hand gear change, left hand rear brake lever.

Would it be indelicate to ask how much you paid malc

if so could you just advise if you think im on right side. All i know is it is part of an estate left by a gentleman and it is all original.

Thanks for you help malc, when i got there it was in fact a 78 kh 250.
Its funny how people describe things and you form an entirely different picture in your mind. Any way it was in original condition 5000 miles not been on road since 93 scrape on bottom right exhaust but generally good chrome and paint it even attempted to fire up, i offered £1700.

Have now purchased 77 kh250 b2 £1500, so might be on look out for parts. First up right hand lower exhaust which has road rash & dents.
