hi chaps,ive recently put a 1170 kit on my kwaka z1100 A3 1985 shafty.it has four straight through pipes on aswell(its a trike)..my question to the panel is,what would be the best carb set up to use??rick...

Trickerick, check whether you have vacuum petrol cock and whether it is dual or single feed. Then I would go for Z1R 28mm Mikuni's .... Check that rubber inlet manifold is same as earlier Z1000 models. Also, check if the carbs have accelerator pumps... Ideally, find one without.
Sorry don't know much about '85 models

Mikuni RS34 or 36 probably easiest to get & set up - Mikuni VM29or 33 for original pose & performance
Go for slightly smaller options if want more torque & mid/low performance, or large variants if chasing more top end .... but all will be a major improvement over standard
PS: Avoid CV carbs if you can
