Customs and MOT

Hello all.
Just doing my checklist and am have a few Qs.
Wanting to keep my front end hyper minimal, I've only fitted a small 2 button switch for hi-beam and horn. Main beam will be always on.
I've also not fitted any clocks at all - no tacho and no speedo.
Pre-84 bikes don't need indicators.
My questions are:
1) I need a kill switch but how 'accessible' does it have to be? Can I hide it?
2) Do I need a speedo? If I do, can it be an iPhone GPS speedo 'app' that is attached to bike at time of MOT?
Am up for bending the rules to breaking poiint if you know what I mean...!

You need a working speedo that shows the milage, as this has to be recorded at time of MoTAm up for bending the rules to breaking poiint if you know what I mean...!

as far as I'm aware a speedo has to present but NOT necessarily working unless someone knows different

NO! Forgot about the mileometer.
This would SERIOUSLY screw my shit up man.
SHIT. Unless I can fit one just ti pass the MOT in the most ghetto way possible.
But surely mileage is pointless on a custom that is starting from scratch and gets used a handful of days a year...?

Just a speedo.
Cheap digi 99mph pushbike one etc will do.
They don't have trip feature and there's plenty of specials running around with them on so must be ok.
Mot says speedo must be fitted but they are never tested.
Tester will just probably put down mileage as NA or '0' miles.

Cool.
What about the kill switch?
I just looked at the VOSA MOT test online and no mention of one.

Put the kill switch anywhere.
You don't NEED one as the ign can be cut by the ign switch.

But I don't have an ignition switch.
Will have keyless ignition with a hidden starter switch under seat.

Ok! Kill switch can be hidden too if required.

I had my KX500 supermoto MOT'd in January. It had a push bike speedo, but the examiner told me you don't need one fitted at all for an MOT. He also said you don't actually need a number plate fitted either!

He put mileage down as zero.

the speedometer is not part of the MOT test + cannot fail because it doesn't have one. however it is a requirement of using a vehicle on a public road

I use one of those,
+ves - it is accurate, has a odometer on it. nice big numbers, one button switch to press if you want to change display while moving.
-ves needs lighting for MOT and refresh rate could be quicker when nailing it,
