Z1R tyres

Tyre sizes for a Z1R please and what make/type does everyone prefer 
BT45s for my Zs
Except for the one with big 17 inch wheels!

What year, 1978 had an 18 inch front. 3.25 inch front, 4.00x18 inch rear.
Later models 3.25x19 inch front.
100 wide front and 120 wide rear is a common metric size.
BT45 are what I have always used. Good tyres. However have just put Metzeler Lasertecs on my z1000 - which I am very impressed with.

I believe Continental are about to release a new range of RADIAL tyres for Zed fitment - in MCN

I would also recommend Metzelers,which I have used for about 20 years. although For the first decade of ownership I used lots of tyres of which the worst was Dunlop K181.
The Metzelers made such a positive difference that I have not been tempted to use anything else since.
