Righto Gents,

Have a small oil leak coming from the rocker cover, well thoes square thngs.
What do I need to do, obviously change the rocker cover gasket, but I have never taken a rocker cover off a Zed. So do you buy the square thingies and replace them or is there some kind of seal, just want to order the bits prior to undertaking the task

I have just done this on my J.

What I do is to use RTV once all surfaces are clean and dry. A little smear on the semi circle of the rubber portion of, as you say, the square things and pop them in loose. Then RTV the gasket lightly and let it go off.

Then fit it all together and once run retighten.
