I bought a pair from Z Power and the quality is very poor. They may paint up OK but the mounting lugs look like they have been attacked with a bread knife. Not impressed. I have tried Webike but they only have the earlier Z1s and the later Z1000. Any suggestions?
BTW I have tried to buy various PMC bits from Z Power and have ended up importing them from Japan myself, the service was so erratic.

LPM supply the club panels. I've just had one through the club & given it to Hutchy for painting. I didn't think it was too bad.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'm just too picky. I ordered a RH Z900A4 PMC side panel from Webike in Japan but it turned out to be for a Z1000 which looks very similar but has different mounting lugs. The quality was perfect though, well up to modern OEM standards. It even had the correct mounting holes for the badge.
So I then bought the Z Power panels and thought they were very amateurish versus the (wrong) PMC one. To be fair, the outer side will probably look OK after painting but the inner side is very crude.
So, if anyone is looking for a really nice pattern RH Z1000 side panel.....

Stupid question time, don't the Z1 side panels have different mounting lugs compared to the later Z900 A4 ones? I can always get the frame brackets moved when I am having the frame welded as long as the overall Z1 side panel shape fits a Z900 frame. The bottom lug on the RH Z1000 panel is too close to the frame and it wouldn't have been possible to make it fit without major work.

I'm afraid the club supplied (LPM?) sidepanels are fairly poor. They are quite thick but the lugs are too short. They have a home-made look and finish. Being quite thick they feel more substantial but it means you have a tricky job of removing some of the material in order to get the badge spring clips to seat securely on the fairly short badge mounting posts. The PMC ones are excellent quality but slightly thinner so may flex more but badges fit securely without having to remove excess plastic from the inner face of the panel. I would go for PMC.

When I bought my A4 she was fitted with Z1B side panels & badges (along with the Z1 AirBox), but I decided I wanted A4 panels and badges.
I got mine from Z Power; they did look a bit crappy before painting, but with a lick of Dream Machine's finest and some shiny new badges they looked really nice. Well they did before my RH panel jumped off the bike and committed "Hara-Kiri", in good old traditional Japanese style.
