Had a re-ocurring noise that took a few weeks to cure! It appeared mainly at lower speeds. Sounded like a clanging exhaust, worse on bumpy roads. Further I went, louder it was........ Thought it might be cam chain rattling... or somink worse! Checked drive chain, was a bit loose. Got an off-set sprocket and even spaced the cover out with washers to ensure it weren't that rubbing!
Turned out to be the fuel tank & tap (Pingel) touching frame. The "further I went" bit was as the tank emptied, the more it echoed... bloody loud an' all! Cured it by using an old Zed inner tube, strategically zip-tied on!
