Electronic Speedo

Hi,
I have an Electronic speedo which i wish to put on my bike. Both wheel sensor and speedo have three wires.On the speed sensor the Black & yellow is the Earth. Is the blue & white wire the 12v feed to the sensor & the white wire the pulse out to the speedo or the other way around? Also does the speed sensor come apart to check its all fine????
