missing steering lock

my 74 Z1A is neering completion and my mind is turning towards security!

doesn't look my bike had a steering lock when I bought it (US Import) so any idea what I need and where it fits please?

the lock fits into the hole in the centre of the lower steering stem
number 36 in the diagram
