my Z1A project is nearing completion, just the paintwork and the exhausts to sort out really (will post pictures when I figure out how to do it on here)
I have an original set of 4x4 stamped exhausts that are a bit holey that I would like to re-use if poss.........has anyone had their exhausts patched up and rechromed with the repairs undetectable and if so, who did them?

i was quoted £200- £300 per silencer for a Kawasaki h1 500 which had quite a few dents + scrapes personally i would not entertain having any z1 type exhausts repaired + chromed due to the thickness of the metal. you could spend as much as it would cost for an after market system only to find in a few months time they will have started to rot in a different place. my advise is replace them with some PMC copy's. this is the company i used for a quote for the h1 500 silencers

Original pipes reach comedy prices on the Bay no matter how poor condition there are in - sell yours and put the cash towards a replica set. Easier, cheaper and better in the long run.
