With sterling advice from some of the guys on the site ive just re-built the J2 forks that are fitted to my A4. Anyone any idea what capacity/grade of fork oil I ought to be putting in these?

327 +or- 4cc per leg when filling from empty.
The correct measurement for J forks is 110 +or- 2 mm.
The measurement is taken with a tape measure from the top of the inner fork tube with the fork tubes compressed and in a vertical orientation. Main spring is removed for measurement.
You will need to pump the forks many times and let the froth settle before taking the final measure.
I tried 5 weight oil and it was too soft.
15 weight was way too hard. So i mixed them because its all i had so i guess thats 10 weight. Still a little hard for comfort but good for fast road use.
7 PSI seems ideal with the above but i dont know the weight of the A4 so it will have to be trial and error.
