Anyone know exactly what wheels these are, Thought they were z1000, but they are 6 bolt and the rib on spokes is offset not in centre.

They do look similar, Is the rib on spokes offset or central, can't tell in pic, I'll have to dig bike out and have a good look for cast marks if it ever stops raining, it's completely buried in my shed at moment.

Whats the history of your bike? parts of it look very familiar to me,back in the eighties I drilled about four sets of brake discs for friends with 900,s whils I was working at British aerospace, pattern on yours looks exactly the same, might just be coincidence, just curious  :?:
Nice looking bike by the way.

Only know it lived in Kent/dartford for at least 10 years, earliest tax disk I have is 1989 in Sidcup.(I know their names/address'), not sure before that, It then went up to a guy in Bury in May 2006 (bought it with rose tint' specs), who sold it to me a month later when he got frightened of the work needed.
If it was you who drilled the disks, :more you did a great job..

No they definatly are not Lesters , I have a pair of them waiting to be polished up and fitted to my z1a . you are right they have an H section spoke.
Incidentally does any one know how wide a rear lester alloy should be?
