Split my Z1B engine cases to replace noisy clutch hub springs, snapped one 8mm (outer) and two 6mm bolts. All good I thought, as plenty spare originals in the bolt box, went to reassemble, bugger, no where near tension, only firm, snapped 8mm inside bolt- position no 1 (which was same bolt as taken out). So I better replace all with newies. What grade are these or do you guys recommend to use?

To get the broken piece out, just had to tap lightly with centre punch, so no way was it over tightened.

problem now solved, tensioned up all my original bolts on some A4 cases and all held up, mustta had one dickie bolt.
