got them stripped and blasted clean, what is the best? paint (if so which, powdercoat or anodise?

I sprayed these with Hammerite satin black. After bead blasting them. Gave an excellent finish, but it still wasn't resistant to brake fluid.
I would opt for powder coating, as anodising some of these old castings can be a little disappointing.

I can tell you some good paint not to use

not at all resistant
Powder coating seems to be the best way to go .

For this application powdercoat is far superior to aerosol or two pack paint but it can be a little vulnerable to chipping especially on calipers due to there position, for me the best finish is stove enamelling, it has very good resistance to fluid, goes on a bit thinner than powder so is less vulnerable to chipping and looks great.
