Can anyone tell me the exact differences between Z1, Z900 and Z1000 long rear mudguards?

Does a Z900 one fit the Z1 with no problems and can you fit a Z1 (long style) light bracket to a Z900 long mudguard?

Thanks.......

Z900 one will fit fine using a STD Euro taillight mount bracket. The original Z1 fender obviously doesn't have any holes for the reflector as you will know but it is also a different profile. If your standing at the rear of the bike looking directly onto the fender the later Z1A and B & Z900 ones are almost parallel sided whereas the Z1's is slightly wider at the base than say 1/2 way up.

Guyz,

I know the UK bikes are really meant to have the long rear mudguard, But they do look FUDDY DUDDY!!!

Makes the Z1 look like a H***** CB 750 (in my opinion!).

Sorry, can't be specific regarding differences. Besides the no-holes for reflector bit, there was a definite difference in shape as noted before. Also ,there was an early one with a longer flange on bottom (meaning the bottom of the flange ended further away from the tyre, not distance from ground)!
Tail-light brackets are a problem, tread carefully, there are several differences, again, can't be specific, but have seen many with three extra holes drilled in the guard.

The longer guard can look classy and classic, however, getting that back wheel off is a pain in the butt.
