Headlight options?.....

#1 PostAuthor: Garry.L » Wed Mar 14, 2012 12:24 pm

My Yank 'B' is still running it's original sealed beam headlight which has now blown, are these units available? or should I just buy the whole headlight conversion kit from Z-Power and go for bulbs?.

TIA.

If you`re not worried about the original look I would recommend an LC lamp unit.
Comes with pilot and an excellent spread.

Otherwise a UK spec Stanley Z1 unit can be hard to find and in comparison to a halogen unit is......................................well pants really.

I use a mk1 Bandit 1200 headlight on mine, great quality light but still with the proper look and still uses a glass lens instead of perspex like some later ones. Plenty of options out there though.
