What is the best way to clean up a set of engine casings. Iv got them compleatly stripped and I've washed them down with a bit of paraffin.

I've heard puttin them in the dish washer can clean them up???? Does any one have any experience of this??

I wouldn't use the dishwasher there's a good chance they will darken down. Get a local aqua blast or soda blast - not bead or grit. If you don't mind spending a bit put them to Steve smethurst for the best finish
