Japanese Bullet Connector Crimping Tool??

Hello People
If you buy these bullets off eBay they can be crimped to look exactly like factory loom connections. You tube has a demo.
The correct crimper tool has a little projection in the middle of the clamping area which forces the brass bullet edges back on themselves to give that "folded over towards middle on both sides" effect (see pic).
Anyone here ever sourced one of those special crimpers please?

Who is the supplier you use to purchase these from please?
Mark - why upgrade to the ratchet style - did you find the crimps were uneven with the manual one or what?
What sort of prices can I expect to pay?

Google Vintage Connections!
They sell all this stuff and probably cheaper than ePay. They also have the plastic plugs which are identical to original, (interestingly enough they're sold as early Datsun fittings!)

If I want to buy the right male bullets for a Z650/ 900 loom are they 6.3mm uninsulated brass or what do I ask for??

Good topic, these are crimping tools are very hard to find. There are a lot around, however, you really have to examine the tool carefully. I have purchased many sets only to find the illustration of the tool was not detailed enough, to see if those little protrusions were present.
These crimping tools are a must for those bullet connectors. I have never seen those ratchet ones. Worth a look!

That's why I thought I'd better post first before investing in one. Sometimes it is just as handy to know what brands/ suppliers to avoid as well as which things work best.
There's no shortage of the bullet connectors on the web - but many of the sellers show you the finished product - correctly crimped - and do not list the tool to do it with. Pretty frustrating if you are trying to copy their results
