Hello my names Rattle I,m new here ,I thought I,d put my Z1b back together .Its been in boxes since 1982 when I took it apart to go drag racing .
So here I am trying to dismantle my front master cylinder ,I,ve been told the plastic reservoir unscrews from the main body ,it wont budge no matter what I do .
When I did an rd400 there were two screws inside the reservoir ,there s nothing in mine how do I get it off without breaking it

Hello and welcome Rattle , i'm sure someone far more nosey than me will soon ask how come Rattle and get some pics posted up .
By the way Rattle how did you get that name and any chance of posting pics of your Z1B.
I removed my master cylinder using these , no problem at all

'allow Rattle,long time no see

.have you still got the 2 stroke triples?
I'm sure the white Plastic Part is threaded.I used an oil filter type wrench but one with a rubber strap,( steady ).You could heat the metalbased a little to make it expand a bit. Keep in touch, Leaf
