what is the best type of exhaust gasket to get is the copper one or the aluminium ones ?

On most of my recent bikes I've had good results with the aluminium/fibre type, but that said I've just ordered a set of copper gaskets for me ZX7R

I know that doesn't answer your question, but I don't think you'll have any problems with either type.

i last used 41mm bonded seals made of copper alloy and viton rubber.
these have been excellant. I was told they would be ok but was worried about the rubber 'melting' . So after 100 miles i took them off for inspection they were perfect. i refitted them ans they are still fitted and seal well.
