Hi Folks

Sorry for a basic question but I've got my Z650 carbs off and I need to know which type I have cos the air screw setting is different.

Most early 650s had VM24SS (the manuals only mention this type) but my bike is a USA model and some of these came with VM22SS carbs instead.

Is there any marking on the carb body I should look for.... or does the 24 or 22 refer to something I can measure with calipers. If it's bore size does it measure on the air box side or engine side (or are they equal).

measure the internal bore on the engine side
