the z900 i bought recently has a tank from a z1000a2 i think, which has a fuel tap with the vacuum outlet. this is a bit tempremental so want to change it for a conventional tap, have seen an adapter on z1ent but needs a new pingel with a male thread to screw into the adapter plate, on ebay.com there is an adapter plate that uses the female fuel tap adapter but comes with a fuel tap which i do not need,

is an adapter like this available anywhere to use the normal fuel tap?

would be worth giving ray debben a call as he has the complete pingel tap with a adaptor of your choice. just ask if he can supply the adaptor plate separate
