if you fit a pingel gravity fed fuel tap,instead of a vacuum tap what do you do with vacuum pipe ian

I would say plug it at the carb end , if not shorten the hose to an inch long still connected to the carb and plug it -

the rubber stoppers that fit on the z1 vacum take offs may fit right onto the carb / tract?

You should plug the vaccum connection at the
carburettor side properly. Otherwise is draws air
at this point and does not run properly amymore.
