Andy, I have an Z900A4 and I bought a "new" wiring loom from ZPower I think I paid about £165, earlier this year I was speaking to a guy with an early '90's Bimota with a Ducati Superlight engine, he had contacted one of these guys who advertises regularly in the bike press - he wanted £1000 to re-wire his bike
£165 is a bargain!

Will it fit and mount ok :?: The 900R frame is very different to a Z900 - in fact, the engine is part of the frame on a 900R.

Sorry - thought you meant you were trying to put an A2 GPZ900R engine in the frame.

Andy, where do you live?
I've wired 100's of bikes over the years and specialize in Kawasaki.

Ferret by any chance?

Ferret quoted me £45 per hour to rewire my Z1000R and told me it could be 2 days work so I would not see much change out of £1000. I'm sure he is very good but I could not afford that. I bought a 2nd hand loom from J Browse and replaced all the connectors from either cojaycat on eBay or Vehicle wiring Products. My switchgear is a combination of Yam R1 and ZX7R. Blow up a copy of a proper wiring diagram and laminate and away you go. It took a while to do properly but the job is really neat, everything works and I got rid of loads of redundant wires to switches you probably don't want. Go for it!

Look at the engine mounts before you go any further.

PAULJAC47 Yes it was Ferret apparently, reding the reviews in magazines I'm sure he does a good job and he does come to you, but.....
