I'm thinking '

Length is important.

ZX9R B1-4 are some of the longest USD forks available. I believe ZRX RWU are pretty long too.

RWU look better in my opinion Glyn, even though I'm putting USD on mine.
I think the Zephyr 750 front end fits without too much bother and possibly the later ZX9r (C model).

Just bought some ZX9R C forks and yoke. Pretty cheap, so I'll have a look and see if it works. If not they'll go back on fleabay.
Thanks Steve and Simon, some good advice. I looked at about 30 photos of Sanctuary bikes, and all had right way up forks. I do like the USD forks from ducatis and aprilias too, especially the Öhlins

I think the ZRX forks looks great on the Z. Have a look at the japanese custom builds, They use a lot of ZRX on their Z.
And you also get a lot of stuff premaid for those forks,
New inner legs in different colour ,black, rainbow, gold etc.
and all sort of brackets for different calipers Brembo, Nissin,AP, Beringer
etc.
They also make a lot of different steering stems to fit those forks and the Z.
Only drawback is the price

One of the nicest bikes on here with later forks (rwu) has got to be ChrisNI's Z1000 with I think ZX9 forks and Zephyr wire wheels. Not sure if the thread was lost in the melt down, the set up just looks right .

I've Just bought the bearings for the ZRX yolk and they mate up with the Mt z1000 tapered shells in the frame.
But I'me replacing them as they look a little tired so one set will do...but I'm playing safe and having to buy 2 sets ...one for the ZRX and one for my Z1000.
