I never done one before but i want to replace the spokes in my front and back wheels of my '77 TT500 project.

Does anyone know anyone in the Bristol area who will do this. I dont mind having a crack myself, any tips would be appreciated...cheers

Have you a front & rear wheel to copy..... Then its easy peasy.
Having said that I'm really only familiar with Z1 series up to Z900-A4.
Even then, I spoke them up and then take them to a professional, for truing and tensioning. When tensioning I have a habit of never wanting to release the tension on the opposite side hence, I aways get pro help!

If the rear has a disc and the hub is not symmetrical, regarding the size of flange, you can get into trouble as the spokes are different length. That's about my full knowledge of spoking!

I've just done my H2 rear wheel - my first wheel rebuild. The re-spoking was the easy bit especially as I had taken some photographs before taking it apart, but had to have a few goes at truing and tensioning.

There are a couple of pretty good videos on youtube such as

which I found helped a lot.
