Does anyone know where /if you can buy batterys that have a low profile? I am thinking of hiding mine in a electrics tray under the seat, presumably some type of gel battery. Seem to remember someone posting about this on the site before it crashed.
Cheers, Crofty

I've bought a MOTOBATT (AGM battery as recommended on this forum to be used with old type regulators),standard Z900 sized but they do any, it is really well made and stronger than stock, for your application four terminals might come handy (you chose two), available on ebay and bike shops, here is a link with Ah and dimmensions:

Thanks guyz for all the suggestions, now got a few options. Will get around to asking Raplph when the time comes, going to get engine sorted first, then wrap it up and do chassis. Cheers, Jim

I'd go for the cheapest supplier as Motobatt guarantee is 24 months no matter where bought, there is a difference compared to my standard YUASA, just went and fired up my A4 after two months standing, took about 30 seconds of cranking but fired up no probs and battery was not struggling at all, 21st century I'm telling you:)
