slow

My Z1000A2 starts easily, runs smoothly, ticks over smoothly,
you'd think theres nothing wrong with it but its always seemed slower than everybody elses, its got no kick in the pants feeling if you see what i mean.
Last week i got my old GS650 shafty motd and taxed and even that feels faster.
Everything as far as i can tell is set up right, any ideas anyone, supose it would be a good idea to put it on a dyno ?

It could well be down to fuel/air in - vs - exhaust out :!:

What carbs, air filter, exhaust you got :|

What was that re-ocurring problem you had with the Zed last year :?:

Standard air box and filter, carbs, jets etc
Exhaust, 4 into 1 as pic but have to say baffle hole is pretty small
problem had was a misfire which was cured with new dyna s leads

I had a Marshall that was restrictive and diddnt realy want to go beyond 6K, open it out a bit or give it a run with it out

P.S.....whats the zorst? looks short? this can also have an effect

Its harris down pipes with a harris collector box, and i believe the end pice
is a piper or something, but yes the opening of the silencer is a bit restrictive
ill open it out and give it a go

Yes waterproof leggings under the seat have caught folk out before now eh :lol:
