advice about eng case

sorry don't know how to do the link, but can any one tell if these casings are standard or bored out (ebay 320758062979) is the main cap braced, and could they be used in a standard eng rebiuld....cheers lads

Iop csing doesn't look as its been machined out :?: Hard tpo be sure.

See what you mean about the crank location cap - looks aftermarket - not a bad thing :wink:

As Pigford says; "hard to be sure" to see from photo's, if cases have been bored to fit the heavier Z1000 bore. However, the standard bores barrels will always fit, albeit, the useless o-rings at the bottom may not be effective.
The main centre bracket does look modified but it may have just been lost and another made up.

The crank cap has a APE style spreader plate fitted, most likely machined flat under it. Not a bad thing, but I would expect the cases have been bored for bigger sleeves to go with the cap.
