Z1000 MKII with Mikuni VM28SS Carbs
The Kawasaki Manual states:
Design Fuel Level = 33 +/- 1mm
Service Fuel Level = 4 +/- 1mm - (measured with a fuel level gauge / tube)

Anyone out there know how this equates to a traditional float height dimension?

Njwmct, Looking at, Table 1 ~ Carb Specifications (Clymer) up to and including 1979.
Starting at 1978 (Z1R) all Mikuni VM28SS have float level set at 26mm (+- 1mm). That's the upside-down measurement method.
