My Z1000 is a US model, and as such has no light switch on the R/H switch gear, as the headlight is always on. But if I was to buy a UK model switchgear with the light switch, what problems am I going to get with wiring into the US loom?

You should be alright Kev - brown/white to brown/white & blue/w to blue/w looks like it is the switch that is different and not the loom
