can it be easily changed ????

perhaps i should explain a tad more clearly if i want an answer

its the rear shocks on my 1100r, iv fitted zrx11 swingarm, wheel etc and currently have a pair of showa's off a cb1300, no probs there except they are a bit too long at 365mm eye to eye and jack the back up a bit too much,

Image

that i could live with if it weren't for the fact iv got to fit a smaller rear sprocket (42t from the current 45) to sort out the gearing, the chain is already rubbing slightly on the 'slipper thingy' as it is so with the smaller sprocket its only going to get worse !!

so, is it possible (or even advisable ??) to fit slightly shorter springs to the shocks to get the eye to eye measurment down to 320mm (ish) without getting into bother with damper rods etc ??

thanks guys :)

hi if you were to modify the springs to get your desired length you will have very little travel left on the dampers as you are reducing the amount by 45mm. would it not be better to change to zrx shocks if these are the Wright dimensions
