Inlet Rubbers

Think i know the answer to this one but

To fit new inlet rubbers on a gpz1100 A1. Do I have to use anything to seal them or as I would assume just make sure the head surface is clean and bolt them straight on?

You should not need to as long as the manifold faces are good.
