Dont use "Stealthproducts" I put an order in with them and paid in full, 6 months later I was still waiting and when I contacted them I was fobbed off... :x :x

It took me another two months to get a refund after repeatedly threatening them with Court action..

Their customer service is pants

Stealthproducts are theiving scum i ordered discs a year and a half ago, they sent me the wrong discs of which i returned at my expense. After being fobbed off for 4 mths as to why i had'nt been sent the correct replacements yet,i asked for a refund.Which i have yet to receive!
Trading standards are a waste of space because even if you win the case at small claims court there's nobody to enforce the company to pay. :grr

Danny T , you're not the only one, I heard loads about this firm since the problems I had...When all my shit was gooing I had a company search data update going on them from an independent firm and they were clocking up the CCJ's about 2 a year !!!!
Z1 owners, steer clear of these muppets :x :x :x

Something you might want to consider is the master cylinder.
Always found the standard brake set up on my Lawson was pretty good if I used sintered pads.
Got a modern radial master cylinder on a whim but really for the looks and didn't really expect it to make any difference.
The increased braking power is quite amazing - two fingered braking no problem.
You do need braided hoses and good brake piston seals to cope with the extra pressure.
Mine's an Accossato which is just a cheaper version of the Brembo.

No need to go for radial masters, a simple 5/8" from a Bandit 1200 will work wonders already.
There's no replacement for displacement!

Go with ZRX1100/1200 mastercylinder works great keeps the mirror and if you wish you can use the matching clutch mastercylinder and convert to hydraulic clutch.

Don't know what size the Z1000 has. The Z1100R already had a 5/8 (16mm). The new radial I think is 19mm - in theory too large but radials need to be bigger. But yes, any more modern 5/8 cylinder might be better.
The modern water cooled Z1000's and CB1000r's have radial cylinders with mirror mounts and can often be picked up on ebay.
Might be better than a normal cylinder but they do have separate reservoirs which a lot of people won't like on a classic.
