As I'm doing something similar, I've noticed that no matter what size bike they all seem to run 17" by 120 front wheels these days. So as long as you can line up the disks you just choose whatever Style you like...you'll be shocked haw many bikes use the classic 3 spokes that look identicle.
You can pick up an older set of forks & yokes for less that £100 if your patient.
£50-100 for the front wheel. £50 for the rear. Finding a S/arm that fits neatly is the real art. £50- £100 for the brakes. Add in for Mudguard, new tyres, Cush drive, new bearings and a bit of machine work....
But if you want to go upmarket a bit, there's a set of ZZR1400 forks & yokes for £300 on ebay.
