Can anyone tell me what length the rear brake pushrod should be for a 1979 Z1000 MKII?

It's 120mm from the center point of the foot brake fixing to where it dissapears into the housing. How far it goes into there, I'm afraid I dont know.

Yes that explains my problem - the rod I have is from an earlier Z1000 which gives a dimension of 175mm approx from the end of the road to the centre of the pivot pin - yours is more like 145mm.

I'll either have to mod the one I have or find a specific Mark II rod.

Many thanks for your help.
