Does anyone know of a company who will re-chrome a complete exhaust system for a z1000a - including the silencers!

There a couple of dents in them as well so may need a bit of brazing to fill the indentations

Had the four pipes from my Z1A and my pipes from a Yamaha YR5 done at Niphos in Crewe. Tidy job and decent price.

Thanks for the leads guys. Will these companies sort the dents out as well?

Hi, had to take the exhaust to SPL in Dudley first to have a nice warm chemical bath to get rid of any rust, soot and grease othewise Howells would not do them  Another £80 spent.

Blimey these are going to the the most expensive Z1000A2 exhaust pipes ever

Oops, sorry, butI should have mentioned that one of the reasons I went to Niphos is because they clean them themselves. Obviously I presume they include that in the price, but even so its a "one stop shop".

Hi Rodger, please could I ask how much they charged you and do they do repairs to the pipes as well - mine has some small dents in them and will need repairing first.

Hi, I spoke to ACF Howell and told them exactly what exhausts they were but said I had to have them chemically cleaned first as they dont do it and then to drop them off with them for inspection so they can quote correctly.

After a lot of running around I managed to do this and only for them to tell me today that they don't do all in one exhausts!!! Now I have to collect them again (another 2.5 return hour journey). What a waste of valuable time and fuel :angry

Sorry for not getting back earlier. Niphos charged £150 per pipe.
