Help! I've just completed a rebuild of a guys KZ900 and noticed something odd about how the speedo drive is located and secured. From memory there should be a couple of lugs cast into the bottom of the fork leg that locate the speedo drive i.e so it doesn't spin around the axle.
Any chance someone could check or maybe post an image?

I've also checked the Z1000-A1 I'm restoring and its the same. The speedo drive does have a lug cast into it on both KZ900 & Z1000.

Cheers,
Mike. :??

Mark,
Thanks. It does look as though its designed to locate within something and I restored a few Z900's many years back and I was sure there was a notch but hey ho..

Cheers,
Mike
