Took the carbs apart on the zed tonight reckon i found why it was running like shit as one of the main jets were unscrewed and in the bottom of the float bowl and the others were all loose. My question is however these things that the main jets screw into (not sure what their called) are sliding about loose, ive never seen this before and what can i do about it? or will they be ok left ? I really don't know much about these things, so any help will be much appreciated

hi they are secured in the carb body by the main jets with a small brass washer under the jet. once the jets are tightened there shouldn't be any movement at all
