Have now got the B in bits after rev drive wrecked exhaust cam and split rev counter tunnel. From what i can tell it seems that when the breakage occured it seems to have damaged the cam chain tensioner it seems to have pushed it out making the cam chain slack.taking it out and checking, it now seems to stick and may be bent, couple of questions are the manual Camchain tensioner KT1000 as supplied by Debbens superior and is it likely the cam chain is damaged or streched?I cant see any more damage and taking off the sump can find no metal chips just a residue of what looks like ground up cast steel, any thought or advice on what may also have been affected ...

Put a new camchain in, for the price it's a no brainer.

A soft link would be OK - some have used split links with no probs

Not sure who does them tho - I've only ever used endless chains :|
