Clutch Cable

#1 PostAuthor: Skunkwurcx » Wed Mar 03, 2010 2:18 pm

Heya folks, hope you're all managing to dig out of the snow I hear you've been having

I put the "superbike" style bars(2" rise or thereabouts) on my '77 Z1000 and I'm having a job of a time trying to get a clutch cable that fits without bowing out(too long) all over the place and getting caught up on my header. Can anyone recommend what length cable I should get ? Also, who makes it ?

Thanks,
Andrew

you need to get a Barnet clutch cable, suitable for euro low bars.

Thanks for that Kev.....trouble is though, Google Chrome and I.Explorer report their "cables" page as being infested with malaware. Also, it won't navigate away from Harleys for me. :??

Thanks for that too Kev. I had emailed them to tell them about the malaware problem and one of their reps actually responded to thank me, so in my reply to him to say "no problem" I asked if he could help me out. That was from my work addy and I'm home for the night now so we'll see in the morning if he's gotten back to me. If not, I'll try what you've posted.

Thanks again Kev :D
