Z1 baffles

#1 PostAuthor: Andy T » Sun Feb 21, 2010 4:27 pm

Hi, my Z1-B has the original numbered pipes. The baffles are bolted in on the side as usual but don't have the North to South bar across the back to allow you to twist them loose. Do you know anyway I can get them out without causing damage?

Regards,

Andy

Hi Andy, mine havent got the bar either,if once you remove the bolt they will not move outwards using a gentle grip of some pliers i usually give them a gentle tap inwards first, this usually loosens them and with a gentle pull and twisting motion should come out.May be worth a spray with something first if they haven,t been out for ages.good luck :D

Hi Andy T.

I took my baffles out a few weeks ago, mine were the "pea shooter" type too.

Just unbolted them and wiggled them with pliers on the pipe protruding from the end. Out they came.
