under the near side, side cover (L/H) I have a pair of wires with female spade connectors and an empty rubber holder (round) wire colours are Orange & Orange/Green stripe. Now I assume (I know you should never assume) that as it is only two wires that they are for either an indicator relay, or maybe a hazzard relay? but I would appreciate someone having a look in the manual, or at their bike to confirm this please.

is it sitting behind the fuse box, if so its most prob the indicator relay , mine has one orange wire one brown wire though, .
do you indicators not work , or come on and dont flash , or press on hazard switch and not flash.
i have a spare one in gge can send you , has been sitting around a while so not 100 % still works , or z power sell them quite cheap .
if it is that pm me your add will send it to test for you

Another Job sorted

Thanks for the info and the offer, just been to my local bike parts place, which as it happens is just a short walk away from my house, and they had a pattern relay in stock, :) at the price of a genuine part! :( but it is now fitted, and everything now works I think.
I have also fitted my bargain e-bay seat that has no rips/splits, or tears, so it is starting to look as sharp as a very sharp thing, not restored but a decent user :D

Padders, that trumps my generous offer!
Someone ought to have one on CD so we can spread the knowledge :?:
Fully adherent to copyright law, obviously :|
