http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/rr10-uni ... 527-0.html after reading threads and contacting electrex them selves so how does it connect up ?. using the green plug do i connect using bullet type conections on the 3 yellow, black to earth and red female to where? switched live or permanent? dont have a much of an idea so colours/what they supply would be good.
                                           thanks wayne.

The yellows would be the three phases output from your alternator (doesn't matter which yellow goes to which phase).
The black will be earth. The Red provides positive yummy DC volts from your shiny new regulator and goes to the battery positive terminal.
Course, I'm a computer programmer not an Auto Electrician and this 'advice' is worth every penny you just paid for it

Absolutely correct

. You can also run the black (earth) direct to the batterys negative terminal if required.

				not a bad price.
check my post on how to fit a rectifier/regulator unit, for a tenner.
you can always cut the wires and jpoion them on to the wieres from the pluyg.
you need to splay the wires, clean them with wet'n'dry, then push end to end, twsit for good contact then apply electrical solder. to stop the wires from unrave;lling, which they want to do, I use one thjiin strand to wrap round them holding them in place.

got the wiring sorted so will fit it later if i get some time, i'm going to take the red direct to the pos on the battery so do just remove the brown pin on the plug and can i remove the rect completely or does it need modifying/leaving in place?

Eh? You don't need two reg/rectifiers or have I misunderstood?

Remove the old rectifier and regulator when fitting a combined unit.
