#1 PostAuthor: brian 450 » Thu Feb 04, 2010 7:19 pm

I am having a real problem removing the rev counter spline from the head, I have sprayed it in WD40 but i is so tight when i try to move it with a socket i am worried about cracking the head or breaking it off  Any ideas how i can get it out? Is there a chance of it breaking off in there?

Once you have removed the bolt & the two retaining plates, there is only an 'o' ring holding the thing in..... Good Luck
