Has anyone who has restored their switchgear ever used new block connectors as supplied by
http://www.vintageconnections.com/ ?
They look very similar.
Or is there an easy way to get the blocks off?
Cheers
John

Looks a very good resource.
The red tool they show is available in the UK from Vehicle Wiring or your friendly Snap on man. There is a green one also and are very comprehensive tools.
Interesting that they only do two types of spade but useful all the same. The 6.3mm spade comes in two types and we would use the lower numbered AWG (American Wire Gauge)
If you have a word at your local auto electrical shop he will put you in touch with a Wurth rep who will show you a card with maybe 40 different connectors on.

Easy way to get the blocks off is slide a very very small flat blade screwdriver into the block where the wire goes in and bend the wee tang down the spade will slide out then.
