z1000 a1 a2 head

can anyone tell me what size the inlet port should be on a standard head is it 26mm i had a look at my head today and i believe its been gas flowed at sometime because the ports match the manifolds that i have which are for 33 mm carbs, looks like I've been lucky i intend to fit some 33mm smoothbore carbs that i have the mechanic that i know who was helping me remove the valves said it looks like it has some polishing work done at some point
